Katie Is the Richest Baby in the World...

She has THREE blankies!
And they are interchangeable.
This makes laundry day much easier.

Until she learns to count and realizes that one is missing!

You are super lucky. This worked for me until one blankie got "luv'd" with specific tears, and naturally, *that* one was the one, true blankie, and no other would do.

And controuble -? she's old enough for object permanence - maybe she's just not wanting all three at once yet!

Mere has a "clothie", a cloth diaper. She used it in the orphanage and we've had one (at least) ever since. Fortunately, any clothie of the same style would do. We've left clothies behind across the US. We've gone through dozens. Some lost, some worn out, some have taken one too many trips around the backyard (courtesy of Dashy). We've even had a squirel take one up a tree for it's nest. We're down to about a half a dozen. I was hoping that when these were lost or worn, we'd just not get any more, but Mere still uses them at night (with her feet).

As she gets older, she may become very specific about what she wants. You might want to invest in a few more.

Yeah, that sums it up for me.

Zan and Cat said what I would say, so...yes, only insofar as that's the name we give to random events.

The more I think about it ... it is likely more positive attitude than "luck" ... I agree with Cat that luck randomly comes and goes, but I do believe that people with a more positive attitude feel…

I think that random things happen, and that some of them are good for us and some bad and we refer to these as good or bad luck.

I don't believe this randomness can be persuaded or cajoled or sensed…

I didn't really, until I met Steve. He does. And he has had a lot of luck. So, maybe there is something to it.
