It's times like these...

That I remember why I love Roper.

I just finished hanging the second load of clean shirts.

Roper is downstairs reading to Katie.
He has just read "Barnyard Dance" for what has to be the 12th time.
She likes it. It has rhyme and rhythm.

He's gonna make a great Daddy.

Ooooh, Barnyard Dance was one of our favorites too. (But I love any thing Sandra Boynton does, including her Mom's Calendar.) Goodnight Gorilla is also a good one to read, on the same general principal of Goodnight Moon. And Noisy Nora, or anything by Rosemary Wells. TJ introduced me to her books.

I should go thru Talis's books and make a list of favorites. :-) Looking forward to seeing you all at OVFF.

Nah, he still has to log a little more diaper duty to be granted full "good daddy" status.

My kids also adore that book.

We also love reading "It's Pajama Time!!" by the same author :-)

We LOVE Sandra Boynton. My 7 year old loves her Philadelphia Chicken CD.

I like "Slide with the Sheep" best.

And I know that one of these days I'm going to slip and say "Dance with the little ducks, what the f***".

Yay for Bill! My favourite is still "But not the Hippopoamus". See you all at OVFF!
