I have had to learn many hard things in my life.

Things like Sometimes you just shut up and say "thank you."
Sometimes you can't just wait to be noticed, you have to raise your voice. Sometimes your ideas are good even if others shout you down. Some people are just plain idiots and asses.

But the hardest thing and most important thing I have had to learn is that it all works better if we all share focus.

It isn't always about you.

Relationships, Stage comedy, the community you are a part of (like, say, filk or a concom) all work better when you play them as an ensemble, not Prima Donna and Chorus.

Some people need to get over themselves sometimes.
I'm just saying...

*hugs*

I've been thinking about you lately. You've gone from having an able-bodied husband and no baby, to essentially having two babies, in less than six months. Talk about Not Fair! At least when I was a single parent, I knew it going in, and I didn't have to deal with a semi-ambulatory spouse at the same time.

Hang in there. You can do it.

Yes. We Are All In This Together.

Is the lesson that (often) doesn't stay learned. I have to go back to the School of Inside Your Head fairly regularly for a refresher.

This is too true... with all that's been going on with me lately, I've been way too self focused. Time to go back to school...
