The Roper Report

Roper says thanks for all the good wishes.
He was sitting up when I got there. They had removed the knee immobilizer and femoral block and he was waiting to get feeling back in his leg.
He isn't in the best of moods as he is a control freak and he is less in control now than he has been since he got out of diapers.
They let him have real food for dinner. Before that it was just clear liquids and some oatmeal.
He hopes to come home tomorrow. He expects to come home Monday.
He describes his Drs as Tigger and Eeyore.
He felt (and looked) a lot better after he shaved.

More tomorrow.

I'm glad he's healing well, but I can imagine he's, umm, not pleased about the lack of control. Good luck to all of you!

Many hugs all around. I have no idea how I might help, but if you can think of anything give a call.

Poor Roper! (And definitely poor you!) ;]

Any indication yet how the operation went?

My very best wishes to both of you for a speedy recovery. I bet Dr. Tigger thinks the operation went wonderfully well, and zie wishes zie could do it all over again, and Dr. Eeyore thinks it's too soon to tell. :-)
