When I left the hospital at 4:15 Roper was groggy and a little sick to his stomach, but otherwise ok.
Katie Beth is the best baby in the world. She was very cute and well behaved and waited until we were in the car going home to melt down. 12 hours seems to be her limit for dealing with bright lights and loud noises. SHe is now blissfully asleep in a quiet dark room.
The advantage to not doing caffeine on a regular basis is that when you need it it really works. I got up this morning at 4:24 after about 3 1/2 hours of sleep. I'm pooped. I would eat supper if there were somebody to make it and put it in front of me. As there isn't, I'm just going to go to sleep.
We'll know more when the Dr sees Roper in the morning. If anybody wants to give him a call, he's at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights. Their number is 847.618.1000 and he is in room 853.
