Hey if he's immobile and housebound... stick a computer in his lap and let him help you with the various and sundry paperwork and administrivia involved with running the con. Every conchair needs a good secretary. :)

Nonono -- stick the *baby* in his lap. That way 2 of the problems have solved themselves. At least Katie's not moving on her own, so he won't need to be terribly mobile to keep up with her.

Immobile? That doesn't sound good at all. I wish I were closer to lend a hand. I hope things get better quickly. Good seeing you at 'Fusion and getting to meet your little one. She's adorable.

Don't worry dear,

you have an excellent concom - we've got your back.

Personally, I blame myself for Roper's "accident".

By pushing him to learn how to change a diaper, I made the man panic and stage an accident to take himself out.

hey - wouldn't it be funny if there was some pre-historical Elder God named Calgon, and that whole marketing campaign was just away to recruit new worshippers?

Pondering a sketch there.....

I don't know why but as soon as I read this my mind flipped over to the one act play "God" by Woody Allen.

Aargg!

Good luck. I suppose I'm to far away to help, but my thoughts are with you!

And if I can help at the con, just mention it.

I will certainly try. I've been working on my concert for the past couple of weeks now. I can send you a set list if you want, but be aware that I will probably end up having to cut things because I have about an hour and five minutes of music.

That reminds me, I better have another look at my other programming stuff and see what else I should be preparing for. ;-)

Could Be Worse
Your 9 1/2 week old baby could be a toddler. ;) At least she's not mobile.

Good Luck. Let us know if we can do anything.

Re: Could Be Worse
Got that right. A whole world of trouble was avoided by our last big house move being just BEFORE the baby started crawling. Fred would sit her in the back yard, and she'd happily watch the squirrels.

Coming up on this late but if memory serves, I chaired the 1st Capricon when I was 9 mos. pregnant.

When the hotel was being un-cooperative, I faked contractions and that brought them around ;)

I'd say have fun, but that would just be wrong.

Good luck.
