I feel a little guilty about still having the cleaning lady now that I'm not working. I certainly have time to sweep and dust and wipe down the kitchen. But, having Yolanda, (that's the cleaning lady,) come every other Tuesday means that every other Monday evening we have to do the pick-up-and-put-away so she can sweep, mop and dust. This keeps the house from becoming a major disaster. There are still minor disasters, like the office and the corner of the greatroom where the stuff I brought home from 16 years at the bank is still piled. And the closets are still a mess. And she doesn't do things like washing windows. And I really need to do the leather furniture with saddle soap like you are supposed to periodically. Stuff like that.
I hear her coming up the stairs so it's probably safe to go down now.
Off to errands.
