When I got her up this morning she complained that her tummy felt funny, but I didn't worry too much as I have heard that before and a trip to the potty usually clears it right up.
She perked up a little and I bundeled her off to school.
I had kissed her on the top of the head and was sending her to line up with her class when she suddenly barfed all over her shoes.
This being an early childhood learning center, they had it under controll. She was wooshed off to the nurse's office, sat down, cleaned up and handed a bucket. SHe still was looking very pale and droppy when I finished handing in Julie's registration papers so I took her home.
I settled her in daddy's big chair with a blanket and a sippy cup of juice.
Julie eventually stopped orbiting and climbed in my lap, complaining her tummy hurt, too.
Now, as her cheeks were pink and her forhead cool, I figured she was just looking for attention. Right up untill She barfed all over the floor.
Now they are both tucked up with a blanket and a drink, watching too much TV, in the hope that Barney and Caillou will bore them into a nap and I can get something done.
Ahh, the simple joys of parenthood.
