This Evening...

There is potting soil all over the livingroom floor.
The girls are in shower.
I think the Christmas cactus will survive.
First thing tomorrow I will find a more stable location for it.
The spacebar on my keyboard is sticking.
I think I'm having some trouble with SAD.
The remote for the tv in the living room is still missing.
I have excavated about half of the floor in the family room. I would have done more except the pillowfight fallout was a priority interrupt.
I'm sorry I haven't posted in a month, but I didn't really feel I had anything interesting to say. I'm sorry that when I finally did post it was to complain.
I'll try to do better.

Complaining totally counts as a valid and valuable post.

No problems with this post - it's good to know what is up with you!

And let me just add - I am amazed with all you cope/keep up with! I don't know if I could.... Many *hugs*.

Tell you what: you've got my cell number. Feel free to call any time, and we can tell each other of our woes & gripe without taking it out on our kids, spouse, or LJ. Interruptions by kids will happen, but that's par for the course these days ;)

Zan and Cat said what I would say, so...yes, only insofar as that's the name we give to random events.

The more I think about it ... it is likely more positive attitude than "luck" ... I agree with Cat that luck randomly comes and goes, but I do believe that people with a more positive attitude feel…

I think that random things happen, and that some of them are good for us and some bad and we refer to these as good or bad luck.

I don't believe this randomness can be persuaded or cajoled or sensed…

I didn't really, until I met Steve. He does. And he has had a lot of luck. So, maybe there is something to it.
