Daddy is off to Gafilk. The girls and I dropped him off at Midway at about 10 and then were off to Walmart for a bit of weekend shopping.
We bought bananas, strawberries, fresh pineapple, contact lens supplies, pony beads for making necklaces, a new thermometer, (Julie is still a bit under the weather,) a new outfit for Dolly, that kind of thing.
Then Katie saw... ballerina-in-a-box, a hatbox with a leotard, tutu and slippers, all coordinating. They didn't have here size in the purple, but she is satisfied with bright pink. We came home, put on a disk of something classical, and there was dancing. (Sway, sway, turn turn turn...)
We're going to have fun this weekend. Even without Daddy.
