I was getting Julie settled and almost had her out when I made the mistake of checking the time on my pocket phone. That led to a ten minute tantrum and a sudden zonk.
Katie has been playing jack-in-the-box since about 10:15.
She has had to go to the potty twice, find her telescope, her doll, Dora and Boots, and a roll of paper towels. She asked me to put lotion on her because "her bed was itchy."
Right now, daddy is in Time-out because he took the last papertowel during dinner.
I hear BackPack singing in her room even as we speak.
It's going to be a bumpy night.
Sigh...

I'm now informed that there are things on her floor. This is no doubt true, as there have been things on her floor all day. They can stay there until morning.
We've also had three trips to the potty.
*sigh*

Her bed has now been remade to her specifications and the lights in the room and the hall are all out. We'll see what happens next.
I think I'll come join you now in the hope that the jailbreaks are over...
I told her I would look for it in the morning. She persisted, and I threatened to throw her over my shoulder and drop her in her bed. She said "OK', then reconsidered. "I want daddy to do it." Reluctantly, Daddy complied.
While I was typing this she started in again. "The Airplanes are making too much noise. "Get used to it, we have no way of controlling them."
Now, she is singing the Elmo song at the top of her lungs.
Now she is complaining that she can't find Map. I told her to go back to bed.
She is exiting in a huff. She has noticed two pairs of HER shoes in our room. "Why do you have MY shoes? I'm taking them back to my room, humph!"
Good Night, Katie.
(I hope.)
