Spring Soon, Really!

My forsythia is blooming.
I'm happy.
Tomorrow is the Cubs' home opener.
I'm gonna freeze my butt off.
Like every year.

Ah, I must see the forsythia in daylight.

My forsythia isn't even showing yellow yet. I do have some species tulips blooming by the house, though.

I would like to note that I am in no way, shape, or form coming near Chicago tomorrow, so with luck it won't be raining. Or snowing. Or any such precipitation. I'll try to keep it all down here. *grin*

While you're playing precipitation magnet, would you like to also take this nasty cold rainy stuff that's mucking up our previously springlike weather in Indianapolis? I'd be happy to push it a bit westward...

Ahhh, I remember Chicago.

When I was in Chicago I used to envy Zone 6.

Now I live in St. Paul.

We don't have color on the forsythias yet, but the winter was so mild that even the tenderer ones are in bud. I do have Snow Trillium, Snowdrops, various Crocus, and the Hellebores are in bud.

Enjoy!
