Am I Ready For This?...

So Roper bought a 3/4 size nylon string guitar from Interfilk this past weekend for the girls to learn on. They are thrilled. Katie, especially, likes to strum it. (Fretting is a bit beyond them, so far.)
I am happy. I want them to be musical.
But...
It is a little disconcerting to have an almost four year old sitting in her kiddie rocker, guitar in her lap, asking, (in the right tone of voice, mind you,)

"Are you ready to rock?"

set it to an open tuning (I recommend DADF#AD), that way they can actually make chords

What he said, except I recommend DADAad since that allows for more flexibility re: minors. It's what Gabriel's Strat is tuned to right now.

Have you let her watch "School of Rock" yet. It's one of Mere's favorite movies.

Well, of course she's ready to rock: she's in her kiddie rocker!
I assume that when she utters that, she's in motion?
